🌼 A Gift of Reassurance
Not all gifts come wrapped in paper and bows. Some arrive in the form of words, time, and the kindness of someone willing to truly listen.
After a whirlwind of emotions and conversations, I was reminded that it’s okay to speak my truth, even if it comes with tears. It’s okay to bring up what still weighs on my heart. And it’s okay to expect that others can handle my honesty.
That reassurance lifted a weight. It gave me permission to breathe easier, to let go of doubt, and to know that I am seen and understood.
The greatest gifts are not always things we can hold in our hands—they are the moments when someone says, “It’s okay. You did the right thing.”
Tonight, I am thankful for that kind of gift. 💛
