Emasculation is a real thing, and it shows up in quiet ways long before a man ever grows into himself. Mindsets don’t just appear out of nowhere — they’re shaped, watered, and fed over time. And whether we want to admit it or not, women, we play a role in that.

We’re the first connection a child has to the world.

The first voice.

The first example of love, tone, and emotional safety.

And let’s be real… little eyes are always watching.

If we’re raising children while modeling broken behavior, we cannot turn around and say, “You know better.” A child only knows better when the adults around them show better.

It is far easier to grow a healthy mindset from the beginning than to try and love an adult through patterns they never learned to name, let alone heal. Loving someone who hasn’t faced themselves can feel like loving a moving target — always shifting, never settling.

But here’s the hope:

Change is possible.

Mindsets can shift.

People can grow — when they’re ready.

It takes openness, honesty, patience, faith, belief, and a whole lot of love — the deep kind that comes from God and from within.

Still… even with all that grace, you must choose wisely.

Not everyone deserves the emotional labor it takes to heal.

Some people are committed to staying exactly who they are — and you’re allowed to love them from a distance.

Because here’s the truth that matters most:

Nothing is worth your peace.

Nothing is worth your safety.

And nothing is worth shrinking yourself to keep someone else comfortable.

Lift up the good in our men.

Encourage their greatness.

Support their healing when they are choosing it.

But don’t ever lose yourself trying to fix what someone refuses to face.
