Friday Intention: A Weekly Pause
Before rushing into the weekend…
Before closing the laptop…
Before letting the week blur into the next one…
I’m learning to stop and ask myself a few simple questions.
Not to judge the week.
Not to overanalyze it.
Just to acknowledge it.
What did I learn this week?
Maybe I learned something new.
Maybe I learned something about myself.
Maybe I learned that growth doesn’t always come quietly — sometimes it comes through discomfort, patience, or acceptance.
What brought me joy this week?
Not the big things — the small ones.
A moment of peace.
A laugh.
A sense of relief.
A reminder that good still exists, even on heavy days.
What can I celebrate this week?
Showing up.
Adapting.
Letting go of what I can’t control.
Or simply making it through with grace.
How do I feel right now?
Not how I should feel.
How I actually feel.
Tired. Grateful. Calm. Proud. Relieved. Content.
Whatever it is — it’s allowed.
This Friday, my intention is to honor the week for what it was —
not perfect, but lived.
And to step into the weekend with awareness instead of urgency.
