Let’s talk about something real.

I had a moment at work where I realized something about myself…

The only people I truly admire right now are the doctors.

And I had to sit with that.

Because it wasn’t about status.

It wasn’t about money.

It wasn’t even about education.

It was about how they show up.

🌿 What I See

They are kind… but not soft in their responsibility.

They are knowledgeable… and continue to learn.

They respect time… because they have to.

They move with structure… because people depend on them.

They don’t have the luxury of excuses.

If they make a mistake?

It matters.

If they don’t show up prepared?

It shows.

And yet…

They still find a way to care for their patients,

and still know when to step away and take care of themselves and their families.

That balance?

That discipline?

That’s what I admire.

I had to ask myself:

“What am I really seeing here?”

Because it’s easy to say,

“I admire doctors.”

But that’s surface.

What I’m really drawn to is:

accountability

purpose

structure

integrity

That’s what speaks to me.

I was raised around people like this.

My Daddy.

My God Mother.

Their circle.

People who didn’t just talk…

they lived with intention.

They corrected you when you were off.

They guided you when you couldn’t see clearly.

They expected something from you.

Not perfection…

but awareness and growth.

Now I’m in a different environment.

Different energy.

Different standards.

And I can feel the difference.

Not in a judgmental way…

Just in a knowing.

We live in a time where:

And wisdom?

It’s quieter now.

Not gone…

Am I just going to admire it?

I don’t need a title to move with:

I can choose that in how I:

show up at work

speak to people

manage my energy

hold myself accountable
