🌻 Friday Real Talk
This Isn’t Playtime
There’s a time to laugh.
There’s a time to joke.
There’s a time to keep things light.
And then there’s a time to be real.
I’ve learned something over time…
I can’t play when it’s not playtime.
When something is affecting my peace…
When it’s impacting my home…
When it’s touching the people I love…
That’s not the moment to brush it off.
That’s not the moment to soften it.
That’s the moment to stand in truth.
I’m not a loud person.
I don’t curse.
I don’t move reckless.
But I will speak when something is not right.
Because peace is not something I negotiate.
Not in my home.
Not in my life.
You can’t keep treating serious situations like they’re temporary.
At some point, you have to stop playing…
and decide who you want to be.
Growth isn’t easy.
Change isn’t quick.
But it starts with being honest with yourself.
And for me?
I’ve learned when to laugh…
and when to say:
“This isn’t playtime.”
Have you ever felt this way?
Maybe it’s time we coin the phrase…
“It’s Not Playtime.”
Blessings,
Lady Flava 🌻❣️
