There’s something magical about driving through a tunnel of trees — the world grows quiet, and peace starts before you even arrive.
Today’s lake moment reminded me: serenity often meets you on the way, not just at the destination. ☕🍁

☕ Saturday Stillness by the Lake
It’s Saturday morning, and I just dropped Kiki off at her class.
The air feels cool and calm — that kind of quiet only Fall seems to know.
I’ve got my Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte in hand and a book I’ve been meaning to read — “Perfect Is Boring (And It Tastes Like Kale)” by Jess Johnston.
As I sit here by Lake Washington, I’m reminded that peace doesn’t have to be perfect.

It’s the sound of gentle waves, the color of leaves turning, the warmth of a cup in your hand.
It’s allowing yourself to just be — no rush, no pressure, just stillness.

This is a blessing I don’t take for granted.
A moment of pause.
A moment of gratitude.
A moment to simply breathe and enjoy being. 🌻
