🌻 BreathWork, Prayer, Meditation… and Visualization

Health & Wellness with Flava | 9:00 AM Wednesday

Most mornings, I begin with BreathWork, Prayer, and Meditation — my quiet triangle of peace.

But lately, I’ve realized there’s a fourth piece that’s always been there: Visualization.

It’s that silent movie that plays in your mind — the one where you picture what you want, how you want to feel, or what you hope to become.

I didn’t always call it that, but I’ve been doing it for years.

The Power of Seeing Before It Happens

Visualization isn’t about fantasy — it’s about focus.

It’s seeing yourself in the version of life you’re working toward, and letting that picture sink deep enough that your body starts to believe it.

When I pray for safe travels, I don’t just say the words — I see it.

I see Poopsie and me gliding smoothly through the streets, traffic lights turning green at just the right time, peace riding shotgun.

I see calm. I feel gratitude.

That’s visualization in motion.

How It Shows Up in My Life

I do this when I walk too.

I visualize myself moving smoother, steadier.

It doesn’t always work like magic, but it does shift something inside me.

Because the more I see it, the more my body remembers what it feels like to move with ease.

It’s like my sunflower blinders — that intentional focus on what’s bright, what’s possible, what’s next.

I don’t ignore reality, but I also don’t stare at the storm.

I visualize the sun after it passes.

A Gentle Reminder

Visualization doesn’t mean pretending everything’s perfect.

It means holding an image of what you want long enough to give yourself something to reach for.

It’s your spirit whispering, ā€œKeep going — you can see it because it’s already waiting for you.ā€

Closer Thought

ā€œBefore the day begins, I breathe, pray, meditate…

and I see myself becoming.ā€ 🌻
