“What’s the Difference Between Living and Just Existing?”
This question has been circling my spirit:
Am I living… or am I just existing?
Existing feels like:
waking up going to work coming home surviving pain repeating the routine taking care of responsibilities functioning without fulfillment
You’re moving…
but nothing is feeding your soul.
Living feels different.
Living has:
intention purpose connection reflection joy in small things curiosity growth moments that mean something choices that come from your spirit, not from habit
Most people don’t notice when they slide from living into existing.
Life gets heavy, responsibilities get bigger, and before you know it, your whole world becomes a checklist.
But here’s the challenge:
What is one thing — ONE —
that reminds you you’re alive, not just maintaining life?
Maybe it’s:
writing laughing music creating walking outside telling your truth praying reading sitting in silence talking to someone who sees you learning something new
Living doesn’t have to be loud.
It just has to be meaningful.
Ask yourself:
“What wakes me up on the inside?”
Then do a little more of that.
You deserve to live —not just exist.
