Soft Like a Sunflower, Strong Like a Leopard
People often ask me why my brand is filled with sunflower petals and leopard print.
At first glance they seem like two completely different things. One is bright and gentle. The other is bold and wild.
But the truth is… they tell the story of my life.
The Sunflower
Sunflowers are known for always turning toward the sun. They naturally look for the light. But there’s something even more meaningful about them.
When the sun goes down, sunflowers turn toward each other.
That idea is sometimes called the Sunflower Theory. It reminds us that when life becomes dark or difficult, we lean toward the people we trust for warmth, strength, and support.
To me, the sunflower represents heart.
It represents choosing hope when life gets heavy. It represents being there for someone not only when life is bright, but also when the days feel cloudy.
Through my writing, my conversations, and the way I try to move through the world, I hope to be a little bit like a sunflower—reminding people to look toward the light and to lean on each other when they need support.
The Leopard
Leopard print tells a different part of the story.
Across many cultures, the leopard represents strength, independence, and resilience. Leopards move through the world quietly but powerfully. They are strategic, adaptable, and confident in their own space.
Even their spots carry meaning.
Scientists have discovered that leopard patterns form through a natural reaction-diffusion process—two chemical signals working together to create a pattern that is completely unique.
No two leopards have the same spots.
That idea speaks to something deeper about life. Each of us carries our own pattern shaped by experience, struggle, growth, and survival.
Leopard print reminds me to stay strong, confident, and unapologetically myself.
Why I Chose Both
Life has taught me that we need both qualities.
A sunflower heart that looks for the light and supports others when the sun goes down.
And a leopard spirit that is strong, independent, and able to move through challenges with quiet confidence.
One represents warmth.
The other represents strength.
Together, they tell the story of who I am.
Soft like a sunflower.
Strong like a leopard.
