Tuesday – A Sip of Flava ☕️
This morning, I was sitting in my tower window…
making my hot water before I sip on my Cowboy Coffee.
Yes… hot water comes first. Gut health routine.
It was still dark. Quiet.
That kind of quiet where your thoughts show up real clear.
And I found myself thinking…
I started a little bird page connected to my Facebook…
and I’m actually excited about it.
Just sharing the birds I see outside my window while I’m working.
Nothing fancy. Just real moments.
I just started it Sunday…
and already a few people are paying attention.
Now yesterday… when I went to post a few more pictures…
my feed started filling up with other bird watchers.
And let me tell you…
their pictures? Beautiful. Professional. Stunning.
And yes… I had a moment.
A quick little thought crossed my mind—
“Do I need to step my picture game up?”
But just as fast as it came… I let it go.
Because that’s not why I’m here.
I’m not posted up waiting for the perfect shot.
I’m working. I’m living.
I’m catching glimpses of life between phone calls.
I’m a storyteller.
I’m sharing what I see…
from my tower window… in real time.
My cedar tree.
The power lines.
My little regulars—Chip and Dale doing their thing.
The birds that come and go like they’ve got places to be.
That’s my lane.
And it feels good staying in it.
Have you ever had one of those moments online…
where you felt like you needed to do more… be more… post better?
I’ve been there.
Back when I was in the arts and entertainment world…
it was always more.
More platforms. More content. More pressure.
Now?
I just want simple.
I want to tell stories.
Share what I learn.
And enjoy what shows up outside my window…
without turning it into something it doesn’t need to be.
That’s the peace.
That’s the shift.
That’s the joy.
