You know what I’ve been noticing more and more…

Everybody is talking about mindset.

Control your thoughts.

Control your reactions.

Control how you experience life.

And yes… that’s true.

But let’s take it a step deeper.

How often are we listening to the way we talk—especially to ourselves?

Because negative talk doesn’t just sit there quietly.

It grows.

It shapes how you feel, how you move, and how you see everything around you.

And the truth is…

some people get so used to that way of thinking,

they don’t even realize they’re living in it.

Negative talk will have you:

focusing on what’s wrong instead of what’s working

questioning your worth

pushing people away without even meaning to

staying stuck in the same cycle

And over time… it becomes familiar.

Comfortable, even.

Now here’s the part people don’t always want to hear…

Sometimes we get attached to our suffering.

Not because we enjoy it…

but because it becomes part of our story.

It explains things.

It justifies things.

It feels familiar.

And letting it go?

That can feel like losing a piece of yourself.

But there’s a difference between:

growing through something

and

living in it.

So what do we do?

We start paying attention.

Catch yourself when that negative voice shows up

Shift your focus—even if it feels small

Speak differently… especially about yourself

Choose words that build, not break

Because what you feed… grows.

This isn’t about pretending everything is perfect.

It’s about deciding that your mind is not a place where negativity gets to run the show unchecked.

So today… just notice.

Not to judge yourself.

Just to see it.

Because awareness?

That’s where the shift begins.
