🌻 A Taste of Flava – 9AM

“When the System Doesn’t Cooperate”

This morning tried me a little bit.

Not in a big, life-changing way…

but in that quiet, frustrating way where something that usually takes two minutes suddenly takes twenty.

I had one task—post a coverage grid.

Simple.

Except it wasn’t.

Overnight, the system decided it wanted everything in plain text.

So something that normally shows up clean and easy to read…

turned into a mess the second I hit paste.

I tried everything.

Copy. Paste.

Different formats.

Snipping tool.

Zooming in, zooming out.

Watching things disappear like I imagined them.

At one point I just sat there and laughed… because what else are you going to do?

And in the middle of all that…

The team was already adjusting.

People were shifting positions, covering phones, making it work in real time.

No perfect layout.

No perfect post.

Just people doing what needed to be done.

💭 And that’s when it hit me

Not everything that works… stays working.

And not every change… makes things better.

But what matters most?

The ability to adjust without losing your flow.

Real Life Moment

I got so caught up trying to make the system behave…

I missed something simple and had to go back and update it.

And I just shook my head like…

Of course.

Because sometimes you can be doing the most…

and still have to circle back to the basics.

🌿 Today’s Flava

Not everything needs to be perfect to be effective.

Sometimes systems are messy.

Sometimes processes break.

Sometimes things don’t line up the way they should.

But if people show up, communicate, and adjust…

Everything still gets handled.

🌻 Closing Sip

Today, I’m reminding myself:

I don’t have to fight every broken system.

I just have to do my part, stay grounded, and know when to let it go.

Because peace matters more than perfection.
