Who’s Constipated? Let’s Talk About It 💩✨
Okay, let’s be real… constipation is one of those things nobody wants to talk about, but everybody has dealt with. Sometimes life, medicine, stress, or changes in routine throw our bodies off track. And if you’ve ever sat there feeling bloated, uncomfortable, or praying for movement, you know exactly what I’m talking about. 😅
I’ve been dealing with this on and off since my injury, and let me tell you—it’s not fun. But I’ve learned that a little humor, patience, and some intentional self-care go a long way. So today, instead of shying away, let’s bring it into the open.
🌿 Flava’s Tips for Getting Things Moving
Stay Hydrated 💧 Warm tea, water, and more warm tea. Your digestive system loves hydration—it softens things up and helps your body do its job.
Gentle Movement 🧘♀️ Knees-to-Chest (Wind-Relieving Pose): Lay on your back, hug your knees, and gently rock side to side.
Seated Twist: A gentle twist while sitting helps “massage” your digestive organs.
Cat-Cow Stretch: On all fours, arch and round your back with your breath.
Short Walks: Even 5–10 minutes around your space can wake things up.
Belly Massage 🤲 Place your hands on your belly and massage clockwise (the natural direction of digestion).
Fiber + Foods 🥗 Whole grains, fruits, veggies, and even prunes can be your friends.
But remember—balance is key, don’t overload all at once.
🌻 Real Talk
Constipation isn’t shameful—it’s part of being human. Whether it’s from medication, stress, or just life, you’re not alone. And while we laugh about it here, it’s also important to listen to your body. If constipation is frequent or severe, talk with your healthcare provider.
✨ Closing Thought
Sometimes wellness is about green smoothies and meditation, and sometimes it’s about cheering yourself on while waiting for things to “move.” Either way, treat yourself with kindness and humor along the way.
So… who’s constipated? 🙋🏽♀️ Don’t be embarrassed—you’re in good company, and there are always ways to get back on track.
