The Simple Things That Matter Most
As I laid in bed last night, after not feeling well and calling off workā¦
the rain came out of nowhere.
It hit my windows hard⦠from all sides.
And I loved it.
I loved the sound of it⦠the beat⦠the way it found its rhythm.
What started as noise turned into something steady⦠almost like it was speaking in patterns.
And in that moment⦠I felt peace.
Now let me be realāif I was out driving in that same rain?
Whole different story š
But I wasnāt.
I was in my space⦠in my tower⦠just listening.
Just appreciating the way the rain made its presence known.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just a moment.
Have you ever had that happen?
Where something as simple as the weather shifts your whole mood⦠slows you down⦠reminds you to just be?
Because sometimes⦠in this loud world we live in⦠we miss the quiet things.
The small things.
The subtle moments that donāt ask for attentionābut give us something real when we notice them.
And truth isā¦
Those simple moments?
They carry more weight than we give them credit for.
Sitting here at my desk this morning, getting ready for another day on the phonesā¦
I caught myself smiling.
All because of a rainy night in Seattle.
And I love that.
Because it reminded meā
Peace doesnāt always come from big changes.
Sometimes⦠itās just the sound of rain against your window.
