A Taste of Flava – Thursday Morning in the Tower

The air is cool this morning, but not crisp. Just enough to make the tower feel peaceful as the neighborhood slowly wakes up.

Ghini and Musty are hanging out at the window doing their morning patrol. Little Boy stopped by earlier and looked like he had a major announcement to make. He stretched his little neck all the way out and let out the tiniest chirp imaginable. Apparently, only me and my grandcats appreciated the moment. 😁

Now I hear Poe in the distance. His caw always comes through loud and clear across the neighborhood as if he needs everyone to know he has arrived for the day.

The sky is blue, the trees are moving gently, and for a moment… everything feels calm.

I’m going to make some hot water and coffee and get ready to start my workday answering phones and helping patients find their way through another day of appointments, surgeries, questions, and worries.
