🌻 Not Everyone Is Meant to Be in the Room When You Are Being Reborn
By Lady Flava
“Not everyone is meant to be in the room when you are being reborn.”
The moment I heard that, my spirit sat up straight.
Because I know that truth.
I’ve lived that truth.
And it hits different when you’ve walked through enough seasons to understand exactly who is meant to go with you — and who is not.
Rebirth isn’t glamorous.
It doesn’t come with applause.
It doesn’t come with an audience.
And it doesn’t come with permission.
Rebirth comes when you finally decide
you cannot stay who you were.
It happens in the quiet moments —
when you’re tired of carrying other people’s chaos,
tired of repeating cycles,
tired of settling,
tired of shrinking just to keep a room calm.
You don’t announce it.
You don’t schedule it.
You don’t need a witness.
Your spirit just says,
“It’s time.”
And here’s where it gets real…
✨ Some people only loved the unhealed version of you.
The version of you who tolerated disrespect.
The version who explained yourself over and over.
The version who carried the emotional load.
The version who made peace at any cost.
The version who kept the relationship alive by sheer force of care.
When you grow past that version,
you stop being convenient.
You stop being predictable.
You stop being controllable.
And suddenly, people who were comfortable with your old wounds
don’t know what to do with your new boundaries.
They don’t understand your silence.
They don’t like your clarity.
They don’t respect your peace.
And that’s exactly why they can’t be in the room when you’re being reborn.
✨ Growth exposes who was really with you.
Rebirth shows you:
who drains you who doubts you who envies you who uses you who respects you who grows with you who loves you in truth who loves only your convenience
Rebirth is God’s way of sorting your circle
without you having to say a word.
✨ Healing has requirements.
And one requirement is separation.
Not distance out of anger —
distance out of self-respect.
Not cutting people off —
just choosing yourself.
You cannot elevate around people who keep you anchored to your old self.
You cannot heal around people who benefit from your brokenness.
You cannot grow in a room full of people who want you to stay small.
Your rebirth is sacred.
It needs privacy.
It needs peace.
It needs protection.
✨ And here’s the beautiful part:
You don’t lose anything in rebirth.
You gain yourself.
You gain clarity.
You gain alignment.
You gain emotional safety.
You gain a quieter life.
You gain a stronger voice.
You gain healthier relationships.
You gain a deeper connection to your purpose.
Not everyone is meant to be there when your spirit stands back up
and becomes the person you were always supposed to be.
That’s not loss —
that’s transformation.
And transformation is not a group activity.
