Let’s Be Honest
Am I disorganized?
Yes.
No.
Somewhere in the middle.
Because here’s the truth
I would imagine most of us experience being disorganized in some form.
Not all the time…
but enough to feel it.
And what works for one person…
Doesn’t always work for another.
Some people need:
everything labeled
everything in place
Others?
we function in what looks like organized chaos
But let’s keep it real
Some level of organization matters.
Because without it… things start slipping.
missed things
misplaced things
mental clutter
stress creeping in
Why we get disorganized
It’s not always laziness.
Sometimes it’s:
feeling overwhelmed
trying to do too much at once
not knowing where to start
having no system that fits you
And then it shows up like this
“I’ll do it later…”
“I know it’s here somewhere…” “
“Everything feels like a priority…”
That right there?
That’s where the chaos starts.
What helps (keeping it simple)
Not perfection.
Just small shifts:
Handle one thing at a time
Create a “home” for important items
Build simple routines
Use what works for YOU (lists, notes, visuals)
And one I like:
Do it, Delegate it, Defer it, or Ditch it
Real Talk Moment
Being disorganized doesn’t mean you don’t have it together.
It means:
you’re human… and life gets full
But staying stuck in it?
That’s where it can start affecting:
your peace
your productivity
your growth
So here’s the balance
You don’t have to be perfect…
But you do need:
some structure that supports your life
