Friday – A Sip of Flava ☕
Does your body read the weather before the forecast does?
Some mornings I wake up and before I even look out the window, my body already knows what kind of day it is.
The shoulders whisper first.
Then the hands join the conversation.
Sometimes the hips and feet decide to chime in too.
By the time I walk over to the window in my tower and check the weather report, I already know the answer.
Rain is coming.

For those of us who live with arthritis or weather-sensitive joints, our bodies can feel the shift in barometric pressure long before the meteorologist talks about it on the news.
Cold.
Damp air.
Pressure dropping.
Our joints read it like a newspaper.
This morning was one of those mornings. I slept terribly and woke up hurting just laying still. My hands didn’t even want to close around a pill bottle.
But here’s the thing…
Even on those days, life still calls.
So I warmed my hands around my coffee cup, turned on my little desk heater in the tower, and logged in for work.
First call of the morning — the patient said, “I’m glad it’s you.”
Sometimes the body may complain, but the heart still shows .
And today, that’s enough.
