Monday — A New Chapter

Alright Monday… let’s go.

I’m walking into this week with a different mindset.

Not because everything in my life is tied up in a pretty bow. It’s not.

I still have things to work out with my doctor.

I still have things to deal with with Sedgwick.

But here’s the thing…

I’m not going to sit around waiting for life to feel “resolved” before I move forward.

Monday feels like the start of a new chapter for me.

And I want to enter it prepared and purposeful.

I’ve spent enough time thinking about work situations, challenges, and the usual workplace nonsense. The quick vent here and there is fine — guess what so-and-so did today — but I’m not giving my energy to that story anymore.

Work is work.

And yes, I’m grateful to have a job. In this world, that alone is a blessing. A real blessing 🙏

But the bigger blessing right now?

Working from home.

Having space.

Having time to think, reflect, and move forward with my life while still playing an important role for my team.

That’s the shift.

I’m not stuck.

I’m repositioning.

I’m learning to get comfortable with the season I’m in instead of fighting it.

And while all of this is happening, I’m continuing to focus on healing.

Mind.

Body.

Spirit.

Because healing isn’t just about getting past something.

It’s about becoming stronger, clearer, and more grounded in who you are.

And maybe the biggest thing I’m realizing is this…

Life doesn’t wait for you to feel ready.

Sometimes you just wake up on a Monday and decide:

Today I start moving differently.

Less stress about things I can’t control.

More focus on healing, growing, and building the life that actually feels good to live.

That’s the intention.

Not perfect.

Just purposeful.
