Sometimes we don’t even realize it…
We think we’re just tired.
Or stressed.
Or having a “day.”
But sometimes… it’s deeper than that.
Sometimes we’re carrying things from our past
that are still showing up in our present.
🌿 Signs You May Be Carrying Old Trauma
It doesn’t always look like something obvious.
It can show up quietly in your everyday life:
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally numb
Getting triggered by small things that don’t match the situation
Avoiding certain people, places, or conversations
Always feeling “on edge” or in fight-or-flight mode
Difficulty trusting others or building close relationships
Chronic pain, tension, fatigue, or sleep issues
Overthinking, people-pleasing, or perfectionism
And sometimes…
You don’t even realize why you react the way you do.
🌿 What Unresolved Trauma Can Look Like
It can show up as patterns:
Pushing good people away
Holding onto unhealthy situations
Always waiting for something to go wrong
Struggling to feel safe, even when things are okay
Your body remembers… even when your mind tries to move on.
