Clarity Changed My Direction
This morning didn’t start the way I wanted it to.
My spirit felt off… not because something happened directly to me, but because I saw something clearly that I couldn’t unsee.
And sometimes… that’s enough to shift your whole mood.
I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t always feel good.
Sometimes it shows you things you’ve outgrown.
Sometimes it reminds you why your peace matters.
And sometimes it interrupts a space you were finally comfortable in.
For a moment, I didn’t like how I felt.
But instead of reacting… I sat with it.
And right there, in that quiet moment, I made a decision.
I’m not going to let what I see around me control how I move.
I don’t have to fix everything.
I don’t have to carry what doesn’t belong to me.
But I can create a plan for myself.
So I did something simple.
I committed to putting a little something aside each month.
Nothing big… just consistent.
I’m going to focus on getting stronger—physically and mentally.
I’m going to clean up what needs attention, including my finances.
And I’m giving myself time… a year or more if needed.
No rushing.
No pressure.
Just steady movement toward something better for me.
And right as I sat there thinking it through… Chip showed up.
Right outside my window… balanced on a wire, moving carefully, one step at a time.
No panic.
No rush.
Just focused on the next step.
That felt like a message.
I may not love everything around me right now…
But I’m learning that I can still choose my direction.
Clarity didn’t break me this morning.
It gave me a plan.
